Spotify has revamped it’s app for Apple Watch, which now has larger animations, new artwork, and an improved streaming experience.
It’s now easy to browse and choose your favorite music while also getting notified of new podcasts. Aside from the UI and experience improvements, Spotify’s new app has a new functionality – where users can like a song by simply swapping on a sign.

Though Apple users have their native music app – Apple Music, in place, most prefer Spotify for the best music streaming experience. Thus, the latter is developing the app with new features to keep the fans entertained all the time.
In this pursuit, Spotify has revamped it’s app for Apple Watch, which now makes it easier to “browse and choose your favorite music and podcasts in Your Library, as well as more quickly download music to listen offline from the watch itself.”
Further, there are new artworks and animations depicting the ongoing music better, with the sleek design of the UI. These aside, a new functionality – where users can swap on a new button on a song to like it. This lets Spotify understand you better and suggest similar songs later.
The company has also pointed at a new notification system – a blue dot – where users can know if a new podcast was added in their Podcast section. Features aside, the company has worked on the bug that prevented Apple Watch users from streaming music in the latest app.
The updated app is now available on the App Store for everyone to be downloaded across the world. As Spotify thrives on Apple devices, the Cupertino-based company may soon come with it’s own developments to shine it’s native music app too.
