US watch maker TIMEX has recently introduced their first ever smartwatch called The Ironman R300 GPS. It will feature water resistance up to 30 meters and will also come with full sized square case (40.5mm).
The smartwatch’s display utilizes TAPSCREEN Technology and features an easy to utilize menus. Upon connecting with smart devices the watch can display to its user: notifications and alerts etc. There is also an easy to utilize menus for accessibility.
The TIMEX IRONMAN R300 GPS will come packed with an optical heart rate sensor. The device can track your resting heart rate after sleep and give you some suggestions and insights.
This smartwatch from TIMEX will give guiding workouts from top athletes, including Jared Ward’s 12-week running program. It will assist the user to train for the next upcoming race and also allow for the setting of goals.
The Timex Smart App is available on both iOS and Android smartphones, users can keep an eye on their workouts, goals and workout statistics. Users can also connect with other athletes and compete with friends as well.
The IRONMAN R300 GPS comes packed with an on-board GPS connectivity, which will allow for the user to track places, routes and distance. The smartwatch will give its user 24/7 activity tracking which consists of distanced moved steps taken, calories burned and sleep quality.
The smartwatch should give the user about 25 days of battery backup on normal usage of the device. However if the GPS is activated, you will get about 20 hours of usage.
The TIMEX IRONMAN R300 GPS is currently priced at USD120 and will be available in the colours of Gray/Black, Gray and Silver-tone color variants. These set of smartwatches will come with a soft silicone rubber strap.
