Vivo has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated Vivo X300 Ultra will launch in India on May 6th at 12 noon, marking a significant milestone for the brand. This will be the first time Vivo introduces its premium Ultra series in the Indian market, alongside the more affordable Vivo X300 FE.
The Vivo X300 Ultra stands out as the country’s first smartphone to feature a dual 200MP camera setup, pushing mobile photography to a new level. The camera system is co-engineered with Zeiss and supports an external Teleconverter. It features a powerful triple camera setup, including a 200MP primary sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.7x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. The device also has a teleconverter support enabling up to 17.4x optical zoom. The other camera lenses include a 50MP high-quality ultra-wide lens and a 50MP front camera.
The device was initially unveiled in China in late March, and its arrival in India had been teased for weeks. With the official launch date now confirmed, photography enthusiasts are excited to have one more option in the Ultra smartphone category. The official pricing is still currently unknown, but it’s expected that the device will be positioned in the ultra-premium category, potentially being priced around ₹1,50,000. Vivo has also revealed that the X300 Ultra will be available for purchase via major platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and Vivo’s official online store.
