Xiaomi has officially confirmed the global launch date for the highly anticipated Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro smartphones. The new T-series devices will debut worldwide on May 28, with Xiaomi teasing the lineup as “the biggest T Series upgrade yet.” Alongside the global announcement, Xiaomi India has also started teasing the arrival of a new T-series phone, strongly hinting at an upcoming India launch for the Xiaomi 17T.
According to official details and recent leaks, both smartphones will be powered by MediaTek’s latest flagship-grade processors. The standard Xiaomi 17T is expected to feature the Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, while the more premium Xiaomi 17T Pro could arrive with the powerful Dimensity 9500 processor.
The Xiaomi T-series has traditionally focused on offering flagship-level performance at comparatively lower prices, and the 17T lineup appears set to continue that trend. Xiaomi 17T may target the premium smartphone segment, while the 17T Pro could compete directly with flagship devices from brands like Samsung, OnePlus, and Vivo.
