Xiaomi is set to officially unveil its next-generation software, the HyperOS 3, on August 28 at a dedicated event in China, marking the first time in five years that the company is hosting a separate launch for its software. This move attaches the importance of the new software, which Xiaomi has been teasing with the slogan “Smoothly Together.”
In a recent official Weibo post, Xiaomi confirmed the launch date and shared its commitment to delivering a more refined software experience. Company President, Lu Weibing further highlighted that HyperOS 3 will bring noticeable improvements to UI smoothness and responsiveness. While the exact technical details still remain confidential, the emphasis suggests a stronger push toward system optimization, fluid animations, and a more consistent user interface experience.
