From three separate trademark filings made by a company called Immersive Health Solutions LLC, the branding of Apple’s upcoming mixed reality headset was revealed.

Branding of Apple MR Headset

Adding to the pile of leaks regarding Apple’s upcoming mixed reality headset, a handful of new trademark filings revealed the brand naming of this headset. According to Bloomberg, which pointed at three different trademark filings in the US, Apple is trying to register the names “Reality One,” “Reality Pro,” and “Reality Processor”.

Where the Reality One could be the standard Apple MR headset, with the Reality Pro being a stepped-up version of Reality One and the Reality Processor being the internal chip on which both these devices run. We’ve already seen a leak regarding the realityOS – assuming it is the software these headsets would run on.

Apple is adamantly talking about these developments in public. Thus, it made the filings through a shell company named Immersive Health Solutions, LLC. It’s common for big companies to use such shell companies under them to keep their developments private.

Aside from the US, similar trademark filings have been made in the EU, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Costa Rica, and Uruguay. All the filings say these gadgets are “virtual and augmented reality headsets, goggles, glasses, and smartglasses.”

Supporting both the augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) experiences, the upcoming Apple headset can also be used to play MR games, see VR versions of Apple Maps and FaceTime, and even some Hollywood movies.
