How To Fix Smart Switch Transfer Issues:
If you’re having trouble transferring content with Smart Switch, see the information below to troubleshoot.
Before You Begin:
Smart Switch cannot transfer content from an encrypted backup file. If necessary, create a new backup file that is not encrypted.
The backup file needs to be created on a local computer, not cloud-based storage.
Verify the content you are trying to transfer is supported by your phone.
Verify the content is not DRM-protected content. DRM-protected content cannot be transferred between phones. To add this content to your new phone, contact the supplier of the content or re-download the content on your new phone using the supplier’s app or service.
Content stored on a microSD card will not be transferred. If you want to move the content to the new phone, you can install the card on the new phone. Or copy the content to the source phone and run the content transfer process again.

If transferring large amounts of data, attempt to transfer one category at a time. For example, transfer Contacts first and then go back to transfer Messages, etc.
Verify the Available Space:
Check storage space
Navigate to Apps > Settings.
Search for and select Storage.
Verify that your phone has enough space to store the content you are attempting to transfer. If necessary, move some content off the phone or save it to an optional external microSD card.
