Open the number pad on your Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

Tap and hold the number 1 to call and to connect with the voicemail of your device.

If you are asked for a password the first time you are trying to access your voicemail, then just enter the last four digits of your phone number.

After that, you can also enter your new password.

When prompted, you have to record your name and greeting for the other person who will hear your voice when their call be transferred to the voicemail.

Your voicemail is now ready to be used.

For Changing the Old Greeting

If you feel like your old greeting in the voicemail is not appropriate now and you want to change it, follow the steps mentioned below:

Open the number pad on your Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

Press and hold the number 1 so that you can connect with your voicemail.

Then press the * key to access the main menu of the voicemail.

After this, press 3 to gain your access to the greeting menu.

Now you can tap the 2 to record a new greeting. Your old recording will play first.

When you are prompted record your new greeting and press the # key when you are done.

Again press on number 1 to save the newly recorded greeting as your default greeting for the people who call you.
