OnePlus is preparing to launch its most anticipated smartphone, the OnePlus 15, very soon in China. Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the storage variants and the colour options of the device. The OnePlus 15 will be available in different configurations, ranging from 12 GB + 256 GB, 12 GB + 512 GB, 16 GB + 256 GB, 16 GB + 512 GB, up to a 16 GB + 1 TB option. And the tipster also mentioned that the OnePlus 15 will come in three colour variants: Black, Purple, and a refined Titanium.

OnePlus 15 will feature a flat 1.5K resolution display capable of refreshing at an astonishing 165Hz. This marks one of the fastest refresh rates ever seen on a mainstream flagship, tailored not just for smooth scrolling but for gamers who crave ultra-fluid performance. The display will also feature a large R-angle and utilize LIPO technology to reduce the bezels and chin of the smartphone.
One feature that will probably put the OnePlus 15 a step ahead of the competition is the apparent presence of an active cooling fan. Whereas liquid cooling systems and vapor chambers are now the norm in high-performance smartphones, an internal fan system brings it one step further. This can enable the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset to perform continuously at full speed without being thermally throttled, and thus it would be a dream phone in the hands of mobile gamers and power-intensive multitaskers.
Battery life is also expected to be upgraded. The OnePlus 15 is likely to have a battery capacity greater than 7500mAh – a jump that is larger than that of its predecessor. Alongside 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging capabilities.
On the camera front, OnePlus has made major changes. Instead of relying on its longtime partner Hasselblad, the company is launching its in-house imaging brand, LUMIO. The OnePlus 15 will feature a 50MP triple camera setup, including a 50MP JN5 periscope.
