Oppo today announced the Oppo Reno 9 series in china which consists of the Oppo Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 Pro+. The series is the successor of the Oppo Reno 8 series that launched in May this year. Check the detailed specifications below.
Oppo Reno 9 Specifications:
The design of the device looks almost identical to it’s predecessor with a vertical camera module on the rear side. The camera module has two big circular rings for the camera lens along with the dual-tone Led flashlight.
The front has a centered punch-hole 6.7-inch curved Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,080 x 2,412 pixels resolution, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a DCI P3 color gamut. Under the hood is the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset paired with Adreno 642L GPU, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to UFS 3.1 512GB of internal storage.
There is a dual-camera setup at the rear side that consists of a 64MP main camera lens with f/1.7 aperture, and a 2MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture. At the front is a 32MP selfie shooter placed in the punch-hole cutout.
It is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery that supports 67W wired SuperVOOC fast charging and it runs on ColorOS 13 on top of Android 13 out of the box.
Oppo Reno 9 Pro Specifications:
The Reno 9 Pro looks identical to the vanilla model but has some changes in the internals. It has the same display as the Oppo Reno 9 but it comes with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max chipset paired with Mali G610 GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
It also has a dual camera setup on the rear side that consists of a 50MP primary camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture, and an 8MP wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture. There is a 32MP selfie shooter on the front placed in a centered punch-hole cutout. The battery and software specifications are the same as the vanilla model.
Oppo Reno 9 Pro+ specifications:
The Reno 9 Pro+ is the top-of-the-line variant among the three and it comes with flagship-grade specifications. The display specifications are the same as the other two variants. It has the same centered punch-hole 6.7-inch curved Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1,080 x 2,412 pixels resolution, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 800 nits of peak brightness, and a DCI P3 color gamut.
Under the hood is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship chipset paired with Adreno 730 GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 non-expandable internal storage.
There is a triple rear camera setup in the Oppo Reno 9 Pro+ that consists of a 50MP main camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP macro sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The selfie camera is the same as the other two variants in the series.
It is equipped with a slightly bigger 4700 mAh battery with 80W wired SuperVOOC fast charging supports and it also runs on ColorOS 13 on top of Android 13 out of the box. Other specifications include USB Type C connectivity, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, and NFC.
