Oppo has introduced their first smart fitness band in China called the Oppo Band. It was introduced along with the Reno4 series smartphones and Enco W51 earphones.
Weighing about 10.3 grams without the band, the Oppo Band comes with a 1.1-inch AMOLED display, which is a 24-bit color touch screen along with 294 x 126 pixels resolution. The screen is wide enough to show 50 characters and give 100% P3 color gamut. The display is features 2.5D scratch resistant glass for durability.
The Oppo Band features 5ATM ratings, rendering it water resistant of up to 50 meter depths. It features a special Fashion Edition of Oppo Band which has NFC. To allow for connectivity with other smart devices, the band will utilize Bluetooth V5 LE.
Upon connection, it displays notifications about calls, messages and other social apps. The smartband has tri-axis accelerometer and heart rate sensor for 24/7 heart rate tacking. It also features Sp02 sensor for monitoring blood oxygen levels.
The Oppo Band gives its users 12 different sports modes which include Outdoor running, cycling, walking, indoor cycling, indoor running, fat loss running, free training, swimming, badminton, elliptical machine, rowing machine and weight training.
The smartband also offers rewards. The smart band offers more than 160 different band faces to select from. It will be powered by a 100mAh battery which gives about 14 days of usage time.
