The OPPO Find X10 Ultra is already making headlines well ahead of its expected 2027 debut, with fresh leaks suggesting major upgrades to its camera system. According to reliable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, OPPO is testing larger camera sensors for both of its signature Hasselblad-tuned periscope telephoto lenses.
The Find X10 Ultra is expected to retain its unique dual periscope camera setup with 3x and 10x optical zoom. The biggest upgrade is said to come to the 10x periscope camera, which is reportedly being tested with a new 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GNB sensor. This would offer a noticeable increase in sensor size over the Sony Lytia 600 used in its predecessor, potentially delivering better low-light performance and improved image quality.
For the 3x periscope lens, OPPO is said to be evaluating two different options. One is the same 200MP 1/1.3-inch sensor expected on the Find X9 Ultra, while the second is an even larger 200MP 1/1.12-inch sensor, similar in size to those typically used for primary cameras.
The leak also hints at an exciting upgrade for the front-facing camera. OPPO is reportedly testing a new square sensor design, similar to Apple’s Center Stage camera, with earlier rumors suggesting a 100MP resolution. This setup could deliver sharper selfies and improved video capabilities.
As with all early prototype leaks, these specifications are based on internal testing and may change before the phone enters mass production. Nevertheless, the OPPO Find X10 Ultra is shaping up to be another camera-focused flagship, pushing smartphone photography even further with its advanced Hasselblad-powered imaging system.
