Oppo’s upcoming Find X9 Ultra has been in the news for a while now, especially after the good market response from its younger sibling Find X9 Series smartphones. According to a well-known Chinese tipster, Digital Chat Station, Oppo is preparing one of its most powerful camera systems yet, showing the brand’s strong focus on mobile photography.
As per tipster, the Find X9 Ultra will debut with an advanced camera system featuring a true 10x optical zoom, positioning it among one of the most powerful camera phones ever announced.
This 10x optical zoom is part of the dual-telephoto configuration designed for the device. The first telephoto sensor is a 200MP 3x medium telephoto lens, which is expected to deliver exceptional clarity, dynamic range, and detail retention for portraits and mid-range zoom shots. Thanks to its extremely high resolution, this sensor will also allow for advanced sensor cropping while maintaining image quality.
Complementing it is a 50MP 10x (±) super telephoto lens paired with a small sensor, offering true optical zoom without relying heavily on digital enhancement. This lens reportedly provides a native focal length extending to around 230mm, enabling users to capture distant subjects with impressive sharpness. Additionally, Oppo’s In Sensor Zoom (ISZ) technology is said to extend usable focal lengths up to 460mm (±), pushing the limits of smartphone zoom photography even further. The camera array is further enhanced by a multispectral lens, which should help improve color accuracy and skin tone reproduction, particularly in challenging lighting conditions.
Overall, the Find X9 Ultra is shaping up to be a photography powerhouse in 2026. The device is also said to have a global launch scheduled for late Q1, 2026. If launched globally, it will be a tough competitor to other Ultra’s offerings from Samsung and Xiaomi.
