Oppo is preparing to make a significant change in the upcoming flagship of its Find X9 Ultra smartphone, which is set to arrive in Q1 2026. Following the launch of the Find X8 Ultra this year, the Find X9 Ultra is expected to be a major update, especially in the camera department.
According to the Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, Find X9 Ultra camera is a major improvement over its predecessor. The camera system will consist of four lenses. 200 MP main camera + 50MP Ultrawide camera + 200MP periscope camera + 50MP super periscope lens.

The 200MP main sensor is rumoured to be Sony’s new sensor with a sensor size of almost 1/1.1x inch. However the biggest upgrades will be periscope and super periscope cameras. The inclusion of a 200MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP 10x super periscope lens suggests that Oppo is aiming to provide unparalleled zoom capabilities, surpassing the dual periscope system introduced in the Find X8 Ultra. And ofcourse the camera system will be backed by Hasselblad imaging with Oppo’s proprietary HyperTone imaging engine.
More Details
On the design side , Find X9 Ultra will get a similar display as its previous generation Find X8 Ultra. The Find X9 Ultra will feature a 6.83-inch flat display, which comes with LIPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) technology. This technology enables ultra-thin bezels for a near edge-to-edge visual experience with a slim, modern design. Flat displays are coming back to flagship devices due to its practical ergonomic and undeniably quite irritating accidental touch intolerant user.
Battery life is also expected to be upgraded. The Find X9 Ultra is likely to have battery capacity greater than 7,000mAh – a jump that is larger than that of its predecessor. Alongside 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging capabilities, the device is likely to deliver both longevity and quick recharging, easing the communal concerns of two of the most critical concerns for power users.
Moreover, the Find X9 Ultra will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. The last generation of Find Ultra was also powered by a Snapdragon chipset. The all-new chipset is expected to lift performance and power efficiency significantly over its previous generation, with new advanced AI capabilities.
Overall, Oppo seems ready to redefine its flagship lineup, focusing on camera upgrades, display technology, and battery endurance.
