Full Details

The OPPO Reno 16 Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, while the standard Reno 16 comes with a smaller 6.32-inch 1.5K OLED panel. Both devices support a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1,800 nits peak brightness, promising a smooth and vibrant viewing experience.

Under the hood, the Reno 16 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, whereas the Reno 16 runs on the Dimensity 8550. Both smartphones offer up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 3.1 storage, along with Android 16-based ColorOS 16.

One of the biggest highlights of the series is the identical triple-camera setup on both devices. The phones feature a 200MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor offering 3.5x optical zoom. For selfies, both smartphones include a 50MP front camera capable of recording 4K videos at 60fps.

Battery capacity is another strong point. The Reno 16 packs a 6,700mAh battery, while the Pro model houses a larger 7,000mAh cell. Both support 80W wired fast charging, but only the Pro model gets 50W wireless charging.

The OPPO Reno 16 starts at CNY 3,499 (around Rs. 49,000), while the Reno 16 Pro begins at CNY 4,499 (approximately Rs. 63,000). Both smartphones will go on sale in China from May 29.
