Realme is in the preparation to launch its upcoming flagship smartphone series in the Indian market, as the Realme GT 7 series has been officially teased by the brand to launch soon in the country. With the recent launch in China, Realme GT 7 brings advanced features at a price that will not break your pocket.
Expected Specifications
The Realme GT 7 features a fantastic 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED BOE Q10 flat display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. It has 1800 nits of peak brightness in HBM mode, offering excellent visibility even under direct sunlight. In a 4608 Hz PWM dimming rate, users can also be sure of a flicker-free viewing experience, so perfect for long usage without strain on the eyes.

The latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ 5G chipset is powering this beast, one of the most advanced mobile processors in the current mobile market. Coupled with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, the Realme GT 7 is built for lightning-fast performance, seamless multitasking, and lightning-quick load times, and it is perfect for gamers and heavy users. However, there are rumours that the Indian variant of the Realme GT 7 may feature another brand new Mediatek Dimensity 9400e chipset. This chip is also very powerful, and it promises to provide flagship-level performance. For reference, you can see this chip as a competitor to the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
In the imaging department, the Realme GT 7 has a dual back setup, featuring a 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. At the front is a 16MP selfie shutter capturing sharp and clear self-portraits and video calls. It can be seen that the camera is not the main selling point of this phone, but for everyday clicks, this setup is pretty reasonable. However, one of the most exciting features of this phone is its 7000mAh ultra-large silicon carbon battery paired with a 100W wired charging, which can last more than a day of extreme usage.
Realme GT 7 is also IP69 certified, making it highly resistant to dust and water. It also features a graphene body that increases the durability by keeping the phone cool even when you do any heavy work.
Moreover, Realme has packed a lot of extra features in the GT 7 that include dual stereo speakers, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR blaster, and a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. Though the phone boasts a well-equipped setup yet it has a slim profile of 8.25mm and a reasonable weight of 203 grams.
Expected Pricing
Realme GT 7 retail pricing in China starts from ¥2599 ( approx. ₹30,395 or $355), making it a very competitive option for the specifications it offers. However, as of now, there is no word on the Indian pricing of the device but Indian prices but we expect it to be around ₹40,00,0, and even at that pricing, it has the potential to disrupt the premium smartphone segment.
