Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi, recently launched its Redmi Note 15 Series in India, and the brand is now preparing to release a budget-oriented smartphone, the Redmi 15A 5G, in the country on March 27. The upcoming smartphone has already been teased on the official website, revealing several key specifications, design details, and colour options.
An octa-core 5G chipset will power the Redmi 15A 5G, although the company has not yet disclosed the exact processor model. The device is confirmed to feature a large 6,300mAh battery. In terms of display, the smartphone will offer a 120Hz refresh rate, which should deliver smoother scrolling and improved visual fluidity compared to standard 60Hz displays. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will be available in three colour options: Black, Blue, and Pink.
Design teasers also revealed that the device will feature a rectangular camera island housing two camera sensors and an LED flash. The dual-camera housing features a 32MP AI main camera and an 8MP Ultrawide camera. The smartphone is also teased to have good durability, including an IP water- and dust-proof rating.
