REDMI K100 Pro Confirmed to Pack 200MP Camera, 8,580mAh Battery with Wireless Charging

REDMI has officially revealed more key specifications of the upcoming REDMI K100 Pro ahead of its scheduled launch in China on August 11. The brand had previously confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by the custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V chipset and feature a 6.59-inch display. Now, REDMI has shared details about the device’s camera system and battery.

The biggest highlight is the 200MP primary rear camera, which will feature Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for improved image quality and steadier video recording. The K100 Pro will feature a triple-camera setup, accompanied by an ultrawide sensor and a dedicated telephoto camera. REDMI has also confirmed that the telephoto lens will support 10cm macro photography, allowing users to capture close-up shots.

On the battery front, the REDMI K100 Pro is set to pack a massive 8,580mAh battery. According to the brand, the battery uses 26% ultra-high silicon-carbon technology, which helps increase energy density while maintaining a slimmer form factor. This should translate into longer battery life without significantly increasing the phone’s thickness.

Charging capabilities are equally impressive. The smartphone will support 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. REDMI is also bringing 27W wired reverse charging and 22.5W wireless reverse charging, enabling users to charge accessories or even other compatible devices.
