REDMI has officially revealed key specifications about the upcoming REDMI K100 Pro ahead of its China launch on August 11. The smartphone will debut alongside the REDMI K100 Pro Max and is shaping up to be one of the brand’s most powerful flagship devices yet.
The company has confirmed that the REDMI K100 Pro will be powered by a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series chipset with the model number SM8850-1-AB. According to REDMI, the device achieved an impressive AnTuTu V11 score of over 4.09 million points during internal testing. To further boost gaming performance, the device will also feature a dedicated AI gaming graphics chip.
REDMI says the phone will include its new Raging Engine, which is designed to optimize system performance and deliver a smoother gaming experience. For improved thermal management, the K100 Pro will use a 3D circulating cold pump cooling system, helping maintain peak performance during demanding tasks while reducing heat buildup.
On the display front, the REDMI K100 Pro is confirmed to feature a 6.59-inch panel with support for an up to 185Hz refresh rate. Redmi also claims the screen offers an “enhanced 4K experience,” promising smoother visuals and improved image quality.
The company has also showcased the phone’s design. The REDMI K100 Pro sports a flat back panel with a rectangular triple-camera module positioned in the top-left corner similar to the previous generation. The camera island carries Sound by Bose branding. The device will be available in at least a Firefly Green color option, along with a White variant.
