However, Redmi is also working on another device under the K90 Series line-up, the Redmi K90 Ultra. According to renowned Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi’s sub-brand is preparing a powerhouse device that stands out with an ultra-smooth display, good durability, and a surprisingly large battery pack.
As per the tipster, Redmi K90 Ultra will feature a 6.83-inch LTPS display with an impressive 165Hz refresh rate. This makes it one of the fastest screens in the smartphone segment. The display is said to use a large R-angle design, which typically refers to rounded corners that improve ergonomics and aesthetics. The Redmi K Ultra series has always been powered by flagship Mediatek Dimensity processors, and the Redmi K90 Ultra is no different. The device will be powered by the best of Mediatek, the Dimensity 9500 chipset. The same chipset is also used on Vivo X300 Series and Oppo Find X9 Series, both offering flagship performance and efficiency.
Redmi has always been known for pushing boundaries when it comes to battery capacity. The upcoming K90 Ultra will continue on this innovation by featuring Redmi’s most advanced battery to date. The Redmi K90 Ultra will pack a gigantic 8000mAh battery, a capacity rarely seen in mainstream flagship smartphones.
Adding to its modern hardware, the Redmi K90 Ultra is tipped to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and IP69/IP68 dust and waterproofing certifications.
