Xiaomi’s Sub-brand Redmi is all set to expand its Redmi Note 14 lineup with the official launch of the Redmi Note 14 SE 5G in India on July 28, 2025. This comes months after the successful debut of the Redmi Note 14 series in December last year. As per the tagline and marketing materials, the focus is on powerful specifications and multimedia performance.

The new Redmi Note 14 SE 5G is going to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the best refresh rate in its price segment, with a maximum brightness of up to 2100 nits, which makes it one of the brightest screens in its segment. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which is more resistant to scratches and falls. Its teaser image gives the impression that the design is sticking as close as possible to the regular Note 14, yet a color variant in red will be an adventurous addition to the list.
Hiding behind the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor, which finds a reasonable combination of performance and efficiency. It is expected that the phone will offer up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
As for the imaging side, the Redmi Note 14 SE 5G offers a 50MP main camera that has a Sony LYT-600 sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS). The sensor size of 1/1.95 inches can ensure pretty good-looking, crisp shots and night photos. As for secondary camera specifications, it’s currently unknown, but as per the teaser image, we can expect an Ultrawide sensor and a macro.
The battery is the main highlight of this device; the smartphone is equipped with what Xiaomi calls an EV-grade 5100mAh battery, which should comfortably last a full day of heavy usage. And adding to the surprise, the device is incredibly slim despite such a big battery, which is a key advantage over other competition products.
Another highlight is the stereo speaker support with the 300 percent volume increase and Dolby Atmos. As per the brand, this will be the first phone in its category to provide such a good audio experience.
