REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G Global Specs Leaked Ahead of the Launch

The upcoming REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G (Global) has surfaced in a fresh leak, revealing the full specifications of the device. A few weeks back REDMI launched its REDMI Note 17 Series in the Chinese market however there was no Pro Max variant launched that time. But it seems that the brand is preparing to release the Pro Max variant first in the global markets. The leaked specifications suggest that REDMI is focusing on performance, durability, and battery life while offering a premium display experience.

According to the leak, the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. It is expected to pair the processor with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. This combination should provide satisfactory app loading, smoother multitasking, and improved gaming performance.

The REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G is tipped to feature a large 6.83-inch CrystalRes 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising vibrant colours, deep blacks, and fluid scrolling. Display protection is said to come from Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which is claimed to offer 3-metre certified drop resistance.

For photography, the device is expected to include a 50MP primary camera with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera is reportedly included.

Battery life could be one of the phone’s biggest highlights. The leak points to a massive 9,210mAh battery with 100W fast charging, allowing users to enjoy extended usage with minimal downtime.

The handset is also tipped to ship with Android 16 layered with HyperOS 3. On the durability front, it reportedly carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance ratings, along with 2-metre, 72-hour certified water resistance, making it one of the toughest REDMI smartphones yet.
