As per the tipster, the device is expected to come with a 1.5K flat LTPS OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering sharp visuals and smooth scrolling. Under the hood, the smartphone will reportedly be powered by a midrange MediaTek chipset, likely to be a MediaTek 7 Ultra series.
However, the highlighting feature of the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max is its battery capacity. REDMI has always pushed boundaries when it comes to battery technology, and the upcoming Note 17 Pro Max is no different. The device will debut with an ultra-large 10000mAh battery, the largest ever used in a REDMI smartphone. This huge battery is paired with 100W fast charging support, ensuring that users won’t have to wait long to power up despite the enormous capacity.
In terms of photography, the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max is tipped to feature a powerful 200MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), accompanied by an ultra-wide and a telephoto lens. Other features include an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, a premium metal frame, and IP69 certification for superior dust and water resistance.
The launch timeline is currently unknown, but it is expected to debut in China by August 2026, with Global and India debuts planned by the end of this year.
