Twitter announced that it now allows users to share tweets directly to Instagram Stories and Snapchat from the Twitter app on Android. This feature was introduced to iOS users last year and now it is available for all Android users globally.

This makes it easy for users to share any tweet on Instagram Stories and Snapchat as previously users have to take a screenshot of the tweet and then share that screenshot on Instagram stories and Snapchat. This also helps in reducing the clutter on smartphones as many users have tons of screenshots of tweets that they share on different platforms. Apart from Instagram stories and Snapchat, users can also share tweets on LinkedIn from a Twitter app on both iOS and Android, the company announced.

The microblogging website made the announcement in a tweet on Thursday that they will now allow Android users to share tweets directly on Instagram stories, Snapchat, and LinkedIn from Twitter. This feature is already available for iOS users as it was launched for iOS users last year. It is a new feature on Android, so Android users first need to update their Twitter app to get this feature. It is a pretty handy and useful feature especially if you share a lot of tweets on other social media platforms.

The feature is also straightforward to use as users will get Instagram stories, and Snapchat options when they tap on a share icon under any tweet on the microblogging service.

When users want to share a tweet on Instagram stories, they have to tap on Instagram after tapping the share icon under the tweet and they will be directed towards the Instagram app where they can move a tweet, rotate a tweet, and change the size of the tweet. These are the basic options that all users get when they want to share something on Instagram stories. Also, users will share the tweet on Instagram stories as an individual or they can send it to friends or groups.

But there is one limitation to this feature, a person who is sharing the tweet of the person who is viewing the tweet on Instagram stories or Snapchat cannot interact with it by just tapping on it. It means people cannot see the retweets and replies on the share tweet by just tapping on it.
