The next-generation foldable smartphone from Vivo is already in the works. The Vivo X Fold 6 is shaping to be a significant upgrade across performance, camera, and battery. The upcoming Vivo X Fold 6 is expected to build on its predecessor’s slim and lightweight design while introducing more powerful hardware and enhanced durability.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X Fold 6 may feature a large 8.02-inch 2K inner foldable display with ultra-thin glass (UTG), offering improved durability and a premium viewing experience. The device is also tipped to include a 6.51-inch cover screen, making it practical for everyday use without unfolding. Vivo is likely to continue focusing on a sleek form factor, ensuring the foldable remains easy to carry despite its large screen size.
Under the hood, the device is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which is expected to deliver flagship-level performance and efficiency. However, imaging appears to be a major highlight. The phone is said to feature a triple rear camera setup led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by two 50-megapixel lenses for ultra-wide and periscope telephoto photography. For selfies, the device could include dual 20-megapixel front cameras, both on the outer display and another on the inner screen.
Battery life is also expected to see a major boost, with leaks suggesting a capacity close to 7,000mAh. The device may support wireless charging and offer IP68 full water resistance.
