vivo X300 Ultra Camera Details Revealed: Custom HP0 Telephoto and LYT901 Main Sensor Lead the Way

The upcoming vivo X300 Ultra is shaping up to be one of the most powerful camera smartphones of the year, as the brand has already started revealing some key details about its camera capabilities.

According to the official information, the vivo X300 Ultra will feature a Sony LYT901 1/1.12 inch sensor for its main camera. The sensor is paired with a 35mm focal length, which is slightly different from the typical 23–24mm focal lengths used by most smartphones. The 35mm will offer a more natural perspective for photography, similar to traditional cameras. The main sensor is also said to support a CIPA 6.5 stabilization rating, ensuring better image stability while shooting photos and videos.

One of the most exciting highlights of the camera setup is the new custom-made HP0 telephoto sensor, designed specifically for this flagship device. The telephoto camera reportedly uses an 85mm focal length, ideal for portrait photography and zoom shots. More impressively, the telephoto system is tipped to feature a CIPA 7.0 stabilization rating, which is claimed to be the highest stabilization rating in the smartphone industry.

And, for ultra-wide photography, the vivo X300 Ultra will include a 50MP Sony LYT-828 sensor with a 1/1.28-inch sensor size. The lens will offer a 13mm focal length, allowing users to capture wider scenes such as landscapes, architecture, and group shots while maintaining excellent detail. This Ultrawide solution is currently the industry’s best offering.

The Vivo X300 Ultra will soon debut in China later this month, with a global launch planned later..
