The highly anticipated Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to make its official debut in China later this month. According to recent leaks circulating online, the flagship smartphone could launch on March 30, 2026, alongside two other devices, the Vivo X300s and the Vivo Pad 6 Pro.
The leak reportedly originates from a screenshot that appears to show retail channel information about the upcoming launch event. According to the details shared online, both the Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300s will be unveiled at the same event on March 30. Shortly after the launch, the devices are expected to go on sale in China starting April 3, 2026.
Full Details
The Vivo X300 Ultra will feature a 200MP Sony LYT901 main sensor with a large 1/1.12-inch sensor size. This sensor is said to use custom optics and a native 35mm focal length, which is the same focal length seen on the previous generation X200 Ultra. A 35mm lens offers a more realistic perspective, improved subject separation, and better low-light performance compared to the commonly used wider focal lengths in smartphones.
For ultra-wide photography, Vivo is again going all out, equipping the X300 Ultra with a 50MP ultra-large sensor sized at 1/1.28 inches. This will help the sensor to capture improved dynamic range, sharper details, and reduced distortion for landscape and architectural shots.
However, the highlight of the camera setup is the new 200MP periscope telephoto lens, featuring a 1/1.4-inch sensor paired with an 85mm focal length. Often referred to as the “golden focal length,” 85mm is widely regarded as ideal for portrait photography due to its natural compression and background blur.
The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with top-of-the-line specifications. Also, with two 200MP sensors, Vivo X300 Ultra will be the only Ultra smartphone in 2026 to feature dual 200MP cameras.
