Xiaomi has just launched its most high-end smartphone, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, in China, and now the brand has officially revealed the global launch timeline for its next-generation flagship smartphone, confirming that the device will debut internationally in 2026.
The confirmation arrived through Xiaomi’s global social media channels, where the company shared a teaser image with the headline “All-new Xiaomi flagship, SEE YOU IN 2026.” Accompanying the teaser was a bold statement highlighting Xiaomi’s deepened collaboration with legendary camera maker Leica Camera AG.
“A new era in optics begins. In collaboration with Leica Camera AG, our strategic co-engineering brings you a next-generation optical system that elevates mobile imaging to new heights. Launching globally in 2026,” Xiaomi wrote.
While the teaser image itself did not officially name the device, the confusion was quickly cleared. Xu Fei, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Xiaomi Group, confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be released in the global markets. She shared a video from the Xiaomi 17 Ultra launch conference held in China and added that several products introduced at the event will also be made available to global customers.
