REDMI K90 Ultra Set to Launch This Month with Snapdragon 8 Elite and Massive Battery

REDMI has officially confirmed that its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Redmi K90 Ultra, will launch in China later this month. The company has also started accepting pre-reservations for the device, giving fans an early opportunity to register their interest ahead of the official announcement.

The REDMI K90 Ultra launch announcement is a bit surprising. Initially, reports suggested that the Redmi K90 Max could replace the K90 Ultra, but official details have clarified that both devices will exist separately in the lineup. According to REDMI, the K90 Ultra will be positioned below the K90 Max, making it a more affordable flagship option.

Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing revealed that the REDMI K90 Ultra will target a price segment of around CNY 3,000 in China. This places the smartphone in the premium performance category while keeping it more accessible compared to higher-end flagship models.

Although REDMI has not yet shared the complete specifications, leaks have revealed several key details about the upcoming device. The REDMI K90 Ultra is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is designed to deliver flagship-level performance with improved efficiency. The phone is also rumored to feature a massive 8,500mAh battery, making it one of the largest battery-equipped flagship smartphones in the market.

Another interesting detail is the possibility of an active cooling fan inside the device. This feature could help maintain stable performance during demanding tasks such as high-end gaming.
