The upcoming REDMI Note 17 5G has reportedly had its India pricing leaked ahead of its official launch. According to an X tipster, the smartphone could arrive in two storage configurations, with the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant priced at ₹30,000, while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model may cost ₹33,000. Xiaomi has yet to officially confirm these prices, so they should be treated as leaks for now.
Last week, Xiaomi has officially teased the India launch of a new REDMI Note device, most likely the REDMI Note 17 only. The Indian variant is expected to closely resemble the version that recently launched in China. It is tipped to feature a 7 inch 120Hz OLED display, an 8,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor.
The base model is expected to offer 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage with HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. Xiaomi is also expected to provide four years of Android OS updates and five years of security patches. For photography, the smartphone will feature a 50MP primary rear camera alongside an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
