Honor is preparing to introduce a new series of smartphones named Honor Power. The Smartphone is ready to set a benchmark in mobile phone battery capacity. For the first time, we will see a tablet-sized battery being introduced in a smartphone. In the past year, Chinese smartphone companies have been actively pushing limits for smartphone batteries. Starting from 5000 mah to making 6000mah battery as usual to 7000mah level batteries in some phones, and now we will be seeing an 8000mah battery capacity being introduced on a phone. It is clear that the term ‘Power’ here certainly represents the long-lasting battery life, which can easily last you two days under normal usage.
Honor Power Debuts with 8000mAh Battery
Honor Power features a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS curved OLED display, the display is said to be packed with the leading technologies, such as ultra-high frequency PWM dimming for advanced eye protection. The display also has two cutouts for dual selfie cameras. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, which is a good processor for handling day-to-day tasks and gaming.
Honor has also introduced a self-developed communication chip C1+, in the smartphone for better connectivity, and it also supports China’s Baidu Satellite Communication technology. However, the highlight of this smartphone, as mentioned above, is the battery capacity, which is 8000mAh. This ultra-large battery is paired with an 80W fast charging support. Despite such a large battery, the brand has said that the smartphone is still very thin and light, which is amazing.
Moreover, Honor has also teased the durability of its Power smartphone. Honor has always been very focused on the durability of its devices, so we can expect the new Power to be something extraordinary.

Honor has officially confirmed that the Honor Power will be launched on 15th April in the Chinese market. There is currently to information regarding the global debut of the device, but we expect it to be released somewhere in Q2 of this year.
