How to fix 5G network issue iPhone 13 series?

To fix the 5G network problem, we have penned down some effective methods here. After using each method, check if the issue of the 5G network gets resolved or not.

Check if your service provider supports 5G

If your iPhone 13 series has a 5G issue, firstly, call and confirm with your service provider if it supports 5G or not. If not, it would be better to port the number to a carrier that supports 5G.

Additionally, it is important to check the availability of 5G network coverage in your area. Right now, there are little 5G networks in several areas.

Check your calling plans

Once you have checked with your network carrier, it’s time to check if your plan includes 5G connectivity. It might be possible that the plan you are using doesn’t have 5G, and you need some other plans for using 5G on your iPhone series. So, if you are facing 5G connection issues on your iPhone 13 series, let’s verify that you are using the active and right plan.

It might be possible that you have got a limited plan and turned ON “Allow More Data on 5G Data Mode”. This way, you have used all your available data on system tasks and apps, and there is a high chance of running out of 5G data. In this case, you keep on thinking that there is the possibility of error on your iPhone, but it is your data plan which has slowed down your 5G network.

Enable 5G on your iPhone 13

If you have disabled 5G on your iPhone mistakenly, and your iPhone is not showing 5G on your iPhone 13, ensure to turn it on back. To do so, Open Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Voice and Data. 5G is auto-selected on your iPhone 13, but if you have changed the Settings to LTE, switch it back to 5G auto.

Enable Data Roaming

If you cannot use 5G when you are traveling to some other place, try checking data roaming. You should enable it so that 5G roaming can access cellular data. But, sometimes it’s possible that on data roaming 5G network does not work well, so it would be wise to have a local SIM card or eSIM in the country where you are in.

You can use the above methods to check and fix your 5G network problem, and if the problem is not resolved, there might be a chance that something is wrong with your iPhone. In this case, try reaching out to Apple service center.
