Oppo’s sub-brand OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming mid-premium smartphone, the OnePlus Nord 6, in India. The device is scheduled to debut on April 7, 2026, and is expected to bring flagship-grade features to the Nord lineup.

The OnePlus Nord 6 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat OLED LTPS display with a 165Hz refresh rate, delivering ultra-smooth scrolling and gaming performance. The panel is said to support 1800 nits High Brightness Mode (HBM) and 3840Hz PWM dimming, ensuring better visibility and reduced eye strain.
The smartphone is tipped to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, paired with the Adreno 825 GPU. The device is also expected to include a Display P3 Lite chip, along with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, promising faster multitasking and app loading speeds.
One of the standout highlights of the Nord 6 could be its massive 9,000mAh battery, which is the largest brand has ever shipped in India. This large battery will also support 80W fast charging along with 27W wired reverse charging. Photography is not a major highlight of this device though. The phone may feature a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 2MP secondary sensor.
The device will run Android 16 with ColorOS 16, and include features such as an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, and an IR blaster for controlling other gadgets. It also offers IP66, IP68, and IP69/69K ratings for strong water and dust resistance.
