The upcoming OnePlus Nord 6 is already creating massive excitement ahead of its official India launch on April 7. The brand has already disclosed all details about its new mid-premium device that cater for users who want performance and a good software experience without spending much.
OnePlus Nord 6: Everything We Know
The OnePlus Nord 6 features a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat OLED LTPS display with a 165Hz refresh rate, delivering ultra-smooth scrolling and gaming performance. The panel is said to support 1800 nits High Brightness Mode (HBM) and 3840Hz PWM dimming, ensuring better visibility and reduced eye strain.
The smartphone is confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, paired with the Adreno 825 GPU. The device is also expected to include a Display P3 Lite chip, along with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, promising faster multitasking and app loading speeds.
One of the standout highlights of the Nord 6 could be its massive 9,000mAh battery, which is the largest brand has ever shipped in India. This large battery will also support 80W fast charging along with 27W wired reverse charging. Photography is not a major highlight of this device though. The phone features a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 8ML ultrawide lens.
The device will run Android 16 with ColorOS 16, and include features such as an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, and an IR blaster for controlling other gadgets. It also offers IP66, IP68, and IP69/69K ratings for strong water and dust resistance.
There are no words on pricing, but it’s expected that it will be priced between ₹35,000 and ₹40,000 with official sales starting April 9.
