The development of the next-generation Oppo foldable device, the Find N6, is undergoing. The previous generation Find N5 has gained a good reputation both in China and globally, mainly because of its thin and light form factor, while not cutting down on specifications. Now, prominent Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has shared detailed specifications about Find N6, which is scheduled to be released in the first half of next year.
According to the tipster, the Oppo Find N6 will feature an 8.12-inch 2K LTPO UTG main foldable display, offering ultra-smooth adaptive refresh rates and improved durability thanks to Ultra-Thin Glass. On the outside, the device is said to include a 6.62-inch cover screen, making it practical for everyday use without unfolding. Both displays will reportedly house 20MP front-facing cameras.
Photography appears to be a major focus for the Find N6. The rear camera system is tipped to be a triple camera setup with 50MP+50MP+200MP periscope-style camera, supported by a 2MP multispectral lens. This setup hints at significant improvements in zoom, color accuracy, and low-light performance, potentially placing the Find N6 among the best camera foldables on the market.
Under the hood, the Oppo Find N6 is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, promising top-tier performance and efficiency. The device may come in 12GB and 16GB RAM variants, with storage options going up to a massive 1TB. The battery size is expected to be 6000mAh battery which is impressive for a foldable.
Despite its large battery and advanced hardware, the Find N6 is rumored to weigh just 225 grams. The tipster has also mentioned the colour variants which are Titanium, Deep Black, and Golden Orange. Other highlights include side side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP dust and waterproof rating, and premium build.
