OPPO Find X10 Ultra Tipped to Feature 200MP LOFIC Camera with Micro-Gimbal Stabilization

The OPPO Find X10 Ultra is already making headlines well ahead of its expected 2027 debut, with fresh leaks suggesting major upgrades to its camera system. According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the device is expected to introduce a brand-new 200MP primary camera featuring a large 1/1.12-inch LOFIC sensor, which will be a significant upgrade compared to the 200MP sensor on Find X9 Ultra.

The leaked information suggests that the new sensor will utilize LOFIC (Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor) technology, which is designed to improve dynamic range by reducing highlight clipping while preserving details in both bright and dark areas. This could allow the Find X10 Ultra to deliver more natural-looking images, especially in challenging lighting conditions.

The tipster also said that Find X10 Ultra’s primary camera will also feature a Micro-Gimbal stabilization system. Unlike traditional Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a micro-gimbal physically stabilizes the camera module across multiple axes, offering superior shake reduction during both photography and video recording. Overall, the main camera of Find X10 Ultra has gone through an incremental upgrade over its predecessor.

Previously leaked information also suggested the upgrade across the periscope modules. The OPPO Find X10 Ultra will be the only smartphone with a dual periscope structure. The biggest upgrade will be the 10x periscope camera, which is reportedly being tested with a new 50MP 1/1.95 inch sensor size Samsung ISOCELL GNB sensor. For the 3x periscope lens, OPPO is said to be evaluating two different options. One is the same 200MP 1/1.3-inch sensor expected on the Find X9 Ultra, while the second is an even larger 200MP 1/1.12-inch sensor, similar in size to those typically used for primary cameras.
