Oppo has officially unveiled the highly anticipated Find X9 series in China, featuring the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. Both smartphones debut with major upgrades in performance, battery life, display, and camera technology. The brand has also confirmed the global launch for October 28 in Barcelona, Spain.
Oppo Find X9 Series: Full Details
The Find X9 features a 6.59-inch 1.5 K OLED display, whereas the Find X9 Pro has a 6.78-inch 1.5 K OLED display. Both phones have the 120Hz panels but now feature impressive brightness levels of 1,800 nits (full-screen) and up to 3,600 nits (peak) in outdoor mode. Both models can dim down to 1 nit for night use. A key upgrade this year is the inclusion of an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, replacing the optical reader from the X8 lineup for faster and more reliable unlocking.
Both the Oppo Find X9 and X9 Pro are powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC. The chipset delivers a 32% faster CPU, 33% faster GPU, and an astonishing 111% boost in NPU performance compared to its predecessor. Efficiency has also improved dramatically, with power consumption reduced by 55% for CPU, 42% for GPU, and 56% for NPU, ensuring better thermal management and longer battery life.

Now, let’s talk about the main highlights of the Find X9 Series, which are the imaging capabilities. The Find X9 Pro features a 50MP Sony LYT-828 sensor (1/1.28”) main with an f/1.5 lens and OIS, shooting in native 50MP mode. Complementing this is a 200MP Hasselblad telephoto camera with DCG-HDR support, a 70mm f/2.1 lens, and Prism Hybrid OIS. Both main and telephoto lenses support 4K 120fps and Dolby Vision HDR video recording. Ok, the front, the X9 Pro has a 50MP JN1 front camera for crisp selfies.
The standard Find X9 also impresses with a 50MP LYT-808 main camera, a 50MP periscope lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, along with a 9-channel True Color Camera for accurate color reproduction. However, one drawback is that Find X9’s MFD ( minimum focusing distance) on the periscope lens is only 50cm, which might not be very suitable for taking macros. And on the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera.
Interestingly, Oppo and Hasselblad have introduced a teleconverter accessory exclusive to the X9 Pro, enabling 10x optical zoom and up to 200x digital zoom.

Battery capacity has seen a significant jump across the lineup. The Find X9 now packs a 7,025mAh capacity, a massive 1,395mAh boost over its predecessor, with 80W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse charging support.
The Find X9 Pro goes even further with a 7,500mAh battery, 1,590mAh larger than the X8 Pro. It supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging, with Oppo promising at least 80% battery health after five years of daily use.
The Find X9 Series ships with ColorOS 16 (Android 16) out the box. The devices also integrate Google Gemini AI along with Oppo’s in-house AI suite for imaging, voice recording, and productivity features. ColorOS 16 supports Apple Watch pairing, a first for Android devices. Oppo promises 5 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches, ensuring long-term support.
Both devices boast IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, offering exceptional water and dust resistance. Find X9 comes with USB 2.0, whereas the Pro variant has USB 3.2 Gen 1 support.

The Oppo Find X9 series is now available for pre-order in China, with configurations ranging from 12GB/256GB to 16GB/1TB. The Find X9 base variant starts at CNY 4,399 ($620,₹55k) for the 12GB+256GB option, whereas the Find X9 Pro is priced at CNY 5,299 ($745,₹66k) for the 12GB+256GB variant.
