Oppo is preparing to make a significant change in the upcoming flagship of its Find X9 Series smartphones, which is set to arrive around October 2025. Today, famous X tipster @UniverseIce has given us the first glimpse of the upcoming base Find X9 smartphone. As per the render, Find X9 is departing from the circular camera module design seen in the Find X8 lineup. Instead, the Find X9 is shown with a rectangular rear camera housing in the upper left corner, which appears to host a triple-camera setup alongside Hasselblad branding, reaffirming Oppo’s collaboration with the iconic photography brand. On the front, the render depicts a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, paired with ultra-slim bezels that maintain a clean and modern look.

According to Oppo Find series Product Manager Zhou Yibao, the leaked render does not fully capture the phone’s actual design. He emphasized that the Find X9 will feature a flat display. Moreover, he goes on to say that the Find X9 Series will have the slimmest bezel in the industry.
On the imaging front, Oppo Find X9 will be equipped with a powerful 50 MP Sony Lytia LYT-808 primary sensor with OIS. This will be accompanied by a 50 MP ultrawide camera and a 50 MP periscope camera. The entire camera system will be co-developed by Hasselblad.
The Find X9 is rumored to sport a 6.59-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is also said to feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, a step up from an optical sensor, which was seen on the predecessor. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, a high-performance chipset that would allow Oppo to position the Find X9 as a strong competitor to the likes of the upcoming Xiaomi 16 and Vivo X300.
