Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi, is preparing to release its next-generation flagship smartphones soon, with the Redmi K90 Series expected to arrive in the coming months. Recently, the base Redmi K90 has been spotted on Geekbench, confirming that it is going to be powered by the last-gen flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The Snapdragon 8 Elite, paired with the Adreno 830 GPU, ensures that the Redmi K90 will deliver smooth gaming, ultra-fast app performance, and efficient multitasking. Geekbench listings also reveal that the Redmi K90 will pack 16GB of RAM and Android 16 out of the box.

Redmi K90: What We Know So Far
Redmi K90 will feature a large 6.83-inch 2K screen. The display will also adopt a 19.5:9 aspect ratio to ensure a modern, cinematic viewing experience, and the inclusion of a large R angle, a reference to more rounded display corners, adds a premium aesthetic to the design.
Redmi K90 is also going to be equipped with a triple camera setup with a primary 50MP sensor, an Ultrawide, and a telephoto camera. Overall, the imaging system is very versatile and is upgraded compared to previous generations.
And of course, we cannot forget about the battery capacity. Redmi has always pushed the boundaries when it comes to battery capacity, and the upcoming Redmi K90 will not be any different. The device will have an above 7000mAh battery capacity with fast 100W wired charging technology.
The other peripheral specifications include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, an advanced speaker system, and IP68/IP69 dust and waterproof certifications.
