Following Vivo’s lead with its Zeiss teleconverters on the upcoming X300 series, Oppo has also introduced its first Hasselblad-branded telephoto lens for the upcoming Find X9 and Find X9 Pro flagships. The reveal took place during a livestream roundtable on Weibo, where the company showcased the new Oppo Hasselblad Professional Teleconverter Kit.
The kit includes the teleconverter lens and two adapters, neatly packed in a premium box. While the protective handle case with magnetic attachment was not shown during the unboxing, Oppo confirmed it will be available as part of the full camera kit. The dark Hasselblad lens features a 3.28x magnification factor, turning the Find X9 Pro’s native 70 mm telephoto camera into a powerful 230 mm optical zoom. This is a significant step up compared to Vivo’s Zeiss teleconverter, which offers only 2.35x magnification.
The Oppo Find X9 Pro will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chip and will be announced on October 16th in China. Both models will support the optional camera kit, clearly inspired by the success of Vivo’s similar ecosystem.

Probably the major highlight of the upcoming Oppo Find X9 Pro is its high-quality triple camera setup. The Find X9 Pro has a triple-camera setup: a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a whopping 200MP 3x periscope camera. This setup will be developed in collaboration with Hasselblad and powered by Oppo’s LUMO imaging technology, and is designed to deliver professional-grade photography with incredible detail, dynamic range, and low-light performance. For selfie enthusiasts, the device doesn’t disappoint, featuring a 50MP front camera.
The Find X9 Pro particularly stands out with its 200MP HP5 periscope telephoto lens. This is the first time Oppo is using a 200MP periscope sensor. The sensor measures 1/1.56″ with a large f/2.1 aperture, which promises exceptional details and low-light capabilities.
What truly distinguishes this telephoto system is the integration of OPPO’s floating optical system for taking better tele macro photos, also coupled with Super Crystal Blue Glass for enhanced transparency and durability.
Overall, Oppo Find X9 Series is shaping up to be one of the most powerful releases of this year. Oppo has also confirmed that the Find X9 Series will also be introduced globally by the end of October.
