Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 will launch later this year as the next generation of foldable from Samsung. However, before the release, some information regarding both the phones appeared online in leaks and renders. Now, images of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 appear online courtesy of a popular tipster @onleaks.
From the images, the device looks very similar to last year’s Z Flip 3 with some minor changes in the dimensions of the device. The device will also be available in different colors just like last year’s model.
The images first appeared on the publication 91mobile.com in collaboration with popular tipster Onleaks. The device foldable display has a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera for selfies and video calls. The body of the device is built on an aluminum frame and the rear side is made up of glass.
There is a USB Type-C at the bottom for charging and data transfer, a microphone, and a speaker grill as seen in the images. The volume buttons and the power button is on the right side of the device. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner housed in the power button for additional security.
On the rear side of the foldable display are a dual rear camera system, LED flashlight, and a secondary display for notifications and alerts. The secondary display may be of the same size as last year’s model.
Samsung’s upcoming flip folding device could feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a fast 120 Hz refresh rate just like it’s predecessor. But there is a slight difference in the dimensions of the device as Galaxy Z Flip 4 dimensions are expected to be 165.1 x 71.9 x 7.2mm compared to Z Flip 3 dimensions which were 166×72.20×6.90mm.
As per the Chinese 3C certification site, the device supports 25W fast charging with the same battery size used last year. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 plus chipset as per additional rumors.
