Vivo has officially confirmed the launch date of the Vivo T5 Lite 5G in India. This new budget 5G smartphone will debut on July 16 at 12:00 PM IST and will be available for purchase via Flipkart. The device arrives as the successor to last year’s Vivo T4 Lite 5G and brings several notable upgrades, including a larger battery, faster charging, and a smoother display.
The Vivo T5 Lite 5G is confirmed to feature a 6,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. This is a significant improvement over the Vivo T4 Lite 5G, which offered a 6,000mAh battery paired with 15W charging. On the front, the smartphone will feature a display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits peak brightness, promising smoother scrolling and improved outdoor visibility. It will also be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, a capable processor designed for efficient everyday performance and reliable 5G connectivity.
Vivo has also confirmed that the T5 Lite 5G will come with military-grade durability and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, making it more durable for everyday use. Official teasers reveal the phone in light blue and black colour options, featuring a dual rear camera setup.
On the software front, the Vivo T5 Lite 5G will run Origin OS 6, based on Android. The phone will also include several AI-powered features such as AI Creation, AI Captions, AI Transcript Assist, AI Documents, and Private Space, enhancing productivity and user convenience.
