Vivo X300 Pro to Feature Vivo VS1 Imaging Chip for Next-Level Photography

Vivo is gearing up to release its most anticipated flagship phones, the Vivo X300 Series, very soon in China. Now the brand has officially confirmed that its upcoming flagship, the Vivo X300 Pro, will debut with the brand’s in-house Vivo VS1 imaging chip.

The VS1 chip is built for computational photography that leverages AI and advanced processing to deliver superior imaging results. According to Vivo, the chip will enable faster image processing, richer detail retention, and smoother video recording across a variety of scenarios. This means users can expect better low-light photos, reduced noise, enhanced HDR capabilities, and sharper clarity even in challenging environments.

Vivo has been steadily building its reputation in the mobile photography space, with a successful partnership with optical giants like Zeiss. With the introduction of its own imaging chip, the company is taking a major step toward vertical integration—allowing for tighter hardware-software optimization.

The Vivo X300 Pro also brings a new suite of AI-driven tools. Features like AI visual effects and AI customized beauty allow users to personalize their content with professional-grade enhancements. Additionally, the device introduces Live Photo AI Elimination, enabling users to seamlessly remove unwanted elements from live images. The X300 Pro is also confirmed to debut with a 4K 60FPS portrait video across all focal lengths.

More Details

Vivo X300 Pro will get a major design change from the previous generation X200 Pro. The X300 Pro will feature a 6.8-inch flat display. The display will also come with LIPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) technology. This technology enables ultra-thin bezels for a near-edge-to-edge visual experience with a slim, modern design. Flat displays are coming back to flagship devices due to their practical ergonomics and the undeniably quite irritating accidental touch-intolerant user.

Moreover, the Vivo X300 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset under the hood. Battery life is also expected to be upgraded. The X300 Pro is likely to have a battery capacity greater than 7,000mAh – a jump that is larger than that of its predecessor. Alongside 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging capabilities, the device is likely to deliver both longevity and quick recharging, easing the communal concerns of two of the most critical concerns for power users.

In summary, the Vivo X300 Pro is built to cater to photographers and tech enthusiasts. Its combination of high-end optics, powerful hardware, and Vivo’s proven image processing makes it a standout device in the premium segment, perfectly poised to rival the best in the industry.
