Xiaomi 17

Xiaomi 17 features a 6.3-inch flat display with industry industry-leading screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is 8.06mm thin and weighs 191g. The bezels from all four sides are just 1.18mm thin, making it symmetrical. The display of Xiaomi 17 is also very luxurious, featuring brand new TCL’s M10 display material with a peak brightness of 3500 nits. The display also adopts a new large R angle design with a 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The Xiaomi 17 has a 1.5k resolution screen. The display features 1-120Hz LTPO tech for better power consumption. The device also features Xiaomi’s self-developed Longjing glass for durability. The smartphone is also the first phone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

The smartphone features a triple camera setup with a 1/1.31 50MP Light Hunter 950 sensor main camera paired with a 50 MP OV50M ultra-wide lens and a 50MP 1/2.76 JN5 2.6X telephoto macro lens. The cameras are co-engineered with Leica, featuring a brand new Leica Summilux Lens. Additionally, the Xiaomi 15 will also support an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner from Goodix. The front camera has a 50 MP resolution. The smartphone will also come with an IP66+IP68+IP69 high-level Dust and Waterproof certification.

Xiaomi 17s battery gets a major boost from its predecessor, featuring a large 7000mAh battery paired with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Xiaomi 17 Pro

The Xiaomi 17 Pro can be regarded as a slightly upgraded version of the Xiaomi 17. Almost all the specifications of both devices are the same, except for the camera, battery, and design.

The Xiaomi 17 Pro features a completely different design language from the Xiaomi 17 on the rear side. The Pro has a 2.1-inch rear screen on the back, which also boasts some good specifications. The rear screen is also TCL’s M10 material witha 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO technology. It is also protected by Xiaomi’s longjing glass. On the front, 17 Pro is the same as 17.

The Xiaomi 17 Pro features a triple camera setup with a 1/1.28 50MP Light Hunter 950L sensor main camera paired with a 50 MP OV50M ultra-wide lens and a 50MP 1/2.76 JN5 5X periscope lens. The main camera is a major upgrade compared to the previous generation Light Hunter 900 sensor. The new sensor is based on 22nm and features LOFIC 3.0 technology. It also has the industry’s highest dynamic range value at 16.5EV. The periscope lens also has a 20cm focusing power, which means you can take beautiful macros as well.

The Xiaomi 17 Pro has a smaller battery capacity at 6300mAh; however, it’s still very big considering it’s a 6.3-inch smartphone with a rear screen which already occupies a lot of space. The smartphone is also paired with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. However, this time Xiaomi has used 100W PPP universal charging protocols which means any non-Xiaomi charger can charge your 17 Series phones at a fast speed.

Xiaomi 17 Pro Max

The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max comes with some of the biggest improvements over the previous generation, the Xiaomi 15 Pro. The smartphone features a 6.9-inch flat display. This display of 17 Pro Max adopts the Industry’s first Real RGB screen structure, which makes the display resolution the same as a 2K resolution. The device also debuts the new Xiaomi Longjing glass 3. The phone is 8.00mm thin and weighs 219g. Just like its siblings, the Pro Max is also powered by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The device also features the exactly same rear screen as Xiaomi 17 Pro.

The camera configuration is well-balanced, featuring a 1/1.28 50MP f1.67 aperture Light Hunter 950L sensor main camera paired with a 50MP OV50M ultra-wide lens and a 50MP 1/2 GN8 f2.6 5X Periscope Macro lens.
