Xiaomi has officially launched the highly anticipated Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro globally at an event in Austria, bringing major upgrades in display technology, battery capacity, performance, and Leica-powered photography.

For the first time in the T-series lineup, Xiaomi has introduced two different form factors. The standard Xiaomi 17T features a compact 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the larger Xiaomi 17T Pro comes with a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel supporting a smoother 144Hz refresh rate. Both displays offer up to 3500 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and advanced eye-protection technologies under Xiaomi Vision Care.
Photography remains one of the biggest highlights of the series. Xiaomi continues its partnership with Leica, equipping both phones with triple rear cameras with 50MP primary sensors. The Xiaomi 17T Pro uses a larger 1/1.31-inch sensor for improved low-light performance, while the standard model uses a 1/1.55-inch sensor. Both devices also include a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto camera with OIS, capable of macro shots from 30cm, 10x optical-grade zoom, and up to 120x AI Ultra Zoom.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro additionally supports 8K video recording and introduces cinematic 4K recording at 60fps. There are also new software features such as Leica Live Moment and Stage mode that improve motion capture and low-light photography performance.
Xiaomi 17T Pro is powered by the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset built on a 3nm process, while the Xiaomi 17T uses the Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor. Both smartphones feature Xiaomi’s advanced 3D IceLoop cooling system for better thermal management during gaming and heavy multitasking.
Battery life sees a massive upgrade this year. The Xiaomi 17T packs a 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 67W HyperCharge support, whereas the Xiaomi 17T Pro features a huge 7000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support.

The Xiaomi 17T comes in Violet, Opal White, Blue, and Black colors whereas, Xiaomi 17T Pro comes in Deep Blue, Deep Violet, and Black colors. The Xiaomi 17T starts at EUR 749.99, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro begins at EUR 899.99 globally. The Xiaomi 17T is also officially confirmed for India Launch next month.
