Both the Xiaomi Pad 8 and the Pad 8 Pro share an identical design and display, featuring an 11.2-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 3200 x 2136 pixels. The screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring fluid visuals whether you’re gaming, streaming, or scrolling. The tablet also boasts a peak brightness of 800 nits. In terms of form factor, the devices are slim and lightweight. Measuring 255.22 x 173.42 x 5.80mm and weighing just 494g.

The distinction between the two models primarily lies in performance. The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite, making it a powerhouse for demanding tasks such as high-end gaming, multitasking. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Pad 8 runs on the slightly toned-down yet still powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, which promises excellent performance for everyday use and gaming.
