REDMI K Pad 2 and Pad 2 SE Set to Launch in China This Month

Xiaomi’s sub-brand REDMI is gearing up to expand its tablet portfolio in China with the launch of two new devices, the REDMI K Pad 2 and the Redmi Pad 2 SE. Both the tables are confirmed to be launched in China by the end of this month with REDMI K90 Max. The REDMI K PAD 2 is more like a flagship offering from the brand whereas the Pad SE 2 will be for those who are tight on budget.

The Redmi K Pad 2 is shaping up to be a compact powerhouse. It will feature an 8.8-inch TCL CSOT LCD display with an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for gaming and high-performance tasks. What makes this tablet flagship is the chip powering it. The tablet is confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, promising flagship-level performance. Backing the device is a massive 9,100mAh battery paired with 67W fast charging support, ensuring long usage and quick top-ups. This combination makes the K Pad 2 a strong contender for users seeking a portable yet powerful tablet experience.

On the other hand, the Redmi Pad 2 SE is expected to focus more on balanced usability and affordability. It will reportedly feature a larger 9.7-inch display with 2K resolution, offering sharp visuals for media consumption and productivity. The screen is also said to come with TÜV eye care certification, reducing strain during extended usage. The tablet will have a sleek one-piece metal body, giving it a premium feel. The Pad 2 SE will pack a 7,600mAh battery, which should comfortably last through daily tasks like streaming, browsing, and light work.
