Infinix announced The Infinix Zero 5G 2023 variant which is a successor of the Infinix Zero 5G launched earlier this year. The 2023 variant is an incremental upgrade over it’s successor and comes with a new MediaTek dimensity chipset, Android 12 out of the box, triple rear camera system, and 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Infinix Zero 5G 2023 Specifications:
The device looks similar to it’s predecessor and it’s rear design is inspired by the Oppo Find X3. It has a triple rear camera in a vertical camera module, a plastic build, and a hole-punch cutout at the top center of the display for the selfie camera.
Infinix Zero 5G 2023 has a 6.78-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display panel with a 120Hz fast refresh rate and 1080*2460 pixels resolution. On the top center of the display is a center punch hole cut out for the selfie camera.
Under the hood is the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1080 5G chipset which is an upgrade over the MediaTek Dimensity 900 series chipsets. The chipset also includes ARM Mali G68 MC4 GPU for graphics-intensive tasks and games. The chipset is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. There is also an option for virtual RAM expansion using the internal storage and the RAM can be expanded up to 5GB.
For optics, there is a triple rear camera system on the back headlined by the 50MP main camera sensor. The main sensor is paired with a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16MP front camera system placed in a center punch-hole cut out on the display.
The device comes with Infinix’s own custom Skin XOS 12 on top of Android 12 out of the box. It is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery pack that supports 33W fast wired charging and there is a fast charger included in the retail box.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, storage expansion up to 256GB using a memory card, Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth, FM Radio, GPS, USB Type C, and a good old 3.5 mm audio jack.
