iQOO Z6 5G was launched in India today as a new addition to the mid-range iQOO Z series. It is the successor of last year’s iQOO Z5 and comes with the same design language and similar specifications but few upgrades.
Let’s have a look at the detailed specifications of this new device from iQOO.
iQOO Z6 5G specifications:
iQOO Z6 features a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 240 Hz touch sampling rate. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 mid-range chipset. We have seen this chipset in the recently launched Redmi Note 11Pro+ and Realme 9 Pro and this device is competing with these as well in the mid-range segment.
The chipset is coupled with up to 8GB of LDDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. There is also an expandable RAM option and users can increase the RAM by up to 4GB using the internal storage if needed. The device has a 5000 mAh battery with 18W wired fast charging support. This 18W fast charging is much less than the 44W which iQOO Z5 supports.
On the rear side is a triple rear camera setup housed at a huge camera module. The camera module has two huge camera lenses along with a third camera lens, dual-tone LED flashlight, and a 5G branding. The camera setup contains a 50 MP f/1.8 autofocus main sensor with Samsung ISOCELL JN1, a 2 MP macro sensor, and a 2 MP depth sensor. There is a 16MP selfie shooter housed in a punch-hole cutout on the display.
iQOO Z6 5G also features a 5-layer liquid cooling system to reduce the heating effect while playing heavy games. It also comes with an ultra-game mode that optimizes games, battery, and RAM management. On the software front, it comes with FunTouch OS based on Android 12 out of the box.
The base 4GB/128GB variant is priced at Rs 15,499, the 6GB/128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 16,999 and the higher-end 8GB/128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 17,999. It is available in two color options i.e., Dynamo Black and Chromatic Blue.
