OnePlus is gearing up to release its most anticipated flagship, the OnePlus 15, very soon in China. The device features a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO flat screen with a 165Hz refresh rate, marking one of the smoothest and most advanced displays in the industry.
The standout highlight is its 1.15mm ultra-narrow bezels on all four sides, achieved through advanced LIPO display manufacturing. This makes the OnePlus 15 the brand’s narrowest four-sided display ever, nearly edge-to-edge, delivering an immersive viewing experience with symmetrical precision rarely seen in flagship smartphones.
The panel itself is built using BOE’s new X3 custom luminous material, designed exclusively for OnePlus. This ensures enhanced brightness efficiency, color accuracy, and reduced power consumption. Moreover, the display supports 1-nit hardware-level low brightness, allowing for comfortable night-time viewing without eye strain. OnePlus has also paid close attention to visual comfort, boasting a minimum SVM (Stroboscopic Visibility Measure) of less than 0.12, significantly minimizing screen flicker.
On the camera front, OnePlus has made major changes. Instead of relying on its longtime partner Hasselblad, the company is launching its in-house imaging brand, LUMIO. The OnePlus 15 will feature a 50MP triple camera setup, including a 50MP JN5 periscope. With OnePlus controlling the entire imaging pipeline under LUMIO, expectations are high for more consistent, optimized, and innovative photography features.
Alongside this, the OnePlus 15 is expected to ship with a massive 7500mAh battery, which is a significant upgrade from previous generations and one of the largest capacities ever seen in a mainstream flagship phone. This, paired with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, will undoubtedly deliver outstanding battery life. The large battery is also accompanied by fast 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
